Yes, if you already have a multibike policy, and your insurer quotes for the specific bike you would like to cover, our Multibike Insurance will enable you to add another bike to your policy.

If you’re lucky enough to own more than one bike, it means you don’t have to take out individual cover for each of them. It means you would only have one premium and one set of paperwork to worry about.

To enquire about adding a bike to your policy, our friendly Live Chat team are on hand to help. Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.

The chat button will only be displayed when we have chat agents available to assist you.

The easiest way to check whether you're insured to carry pillions (passengers) on your bike is to check your insurance documents.

You can find this information in the section in the Motorcycle Statement of Fact sheet, and this will be available for you to view or download in My Account.

You should also check your licence to ensure that you are entitled to carry passengers.

Many comprehensive and some third party, fire and theft policies will allow you to ride another bike on a third party only basis, but you should always double check.

The easiest way to check whether you're insured to ride someone else's bike is to check your policy documents, which you can find in My Account.

A modification can be any alteration from the manufacturer’s standard specification, including any manufacturer or dealer-fitted option, whether or not performance is altered. It could also include any other changes which could improve value, appearance, performance or handling.

You should tell us about any modification to your bike when you get a quote online, and you will also find out which modifications you don’t need to declare while doing this.

If you have any questions about your bike modifications, please contact us on Live Chat. Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.

The chat button will only be displayed when we have chat agents available to assist you.

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is usually required before you ride a moped or motorcycle on the road and is therefore needed for insurance. However, there are exemptions, such as riding a moped up to a maximum of 50cc.

You can find out more about when a CBT is needed

If you have declared that your bike will be garaged, your insurer has accepted your insurance on condition that your motorcycle is kept in a locked and secured garage.

Depending on your policy and who you're insured with, if there is a garaging clause on your policy then this applies to the designated garaging or home address and possibly the surrounding area (for example, if the garage is not on your property).

You can find out more in your policy documents on My Account or contact us on live chat if you have any further questions.

UK motorists entering the EU will not need a Green Card.

You'll still need to ensure you're legally covered if you’re planning on driving in the EU. Please check your policy documents to find out what you’re covered for, which you can do in My Account.

If you have any questions about driving in the EU, please start a Live Chat with our friendly team, who are available Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
