MANAGE YOUR POLICY ONLINE
To register, head to My Account and select 'register account'.
- You will need to complete all of the fields on the registration form.
- Your policy number can be found on a letter or email that you will have received from us when you purchased your policy (please take care to enter this exactly as it appears on your document).
- Once all fields are completed, select 'continue'. If everything is correct you'll be taken to a verification page, where you will need to enter the verification code which will be sent to your email address.
- After you input the confirmation code, select 'confirm code' and a banner should appear that shows 'account registration successful'.

- Head to My Account and select 'log into my account'

If your login details are correct, you will be taken to your policy overview page where you can find all of the policies you have with us and you can continue to manage your policy.
You can reset your password online in just a few moments. Follow the steps listed and we'll send you a link to create a new password straight away.
- Go to My Account and click 'login'
- Click 'forgotten password'
- Enter the email address you use to login to your account and your postcode
- Click 'next'
You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password. Please note, this link will expire after one hour.

MY DOCUMENTS
1. Log into My Account
2. Select 'Manage Policy' on the policy you would like to upload a document for
3. Select 'Upload Documents'
4. Choose the 'Add files...' button and select the relevant file from your device
5. Choose a description from the drop-down box to describe the type of document you are uploading and add a comment if you need to
6. You can choose to add more files if you need to, or remove any files if you wish to do so
7. Once you are ready to upload your documents, select 'Start Upload'
After you have uploaded a document, you'll receive a confirmation message that your document has been uploaded.

The quickest and easiest way to check your documents is in My Account
You will be able to view the documents online or download them separately as a PDF file to save to your device.
Your documents will let you know what your policy covers as well as the information we currently hold for you, so it is important to check them to make sure everything meets your needs and that all the information is accurate.
If you’re on an Android device, you need to select the document and it should open automatically.
If you want to, you can also save it by pressing the File tab on your device and Print.
You can then save it as PDF on the dropdown list and choose a location to save it to. You should now be able to view your documents on an Android device.
If you’re on an Apple device, you need to select the document and it should open automatically.
If you want to, you can save it by pressing Share (a square with an arrow pointing upwards located at the bottom of your iPhone or the top of your iPad) If you scroll down.
After tapping the Share button, iOS will bring up a list of ways that you can share or save the file, including sending it to others through text message or email.
Swipe through the list until you find the app you want to open it in.
If you'd like to save your documents to Files, swipe down the list until you see the Files option and tap on it. Then, choose your save location.
If you select ‘Manage Policy’ you will reach your ‘Policy Overview’ page. You can then select ‘’View Documents’’ and they should open just like that.
It’s easy if you need to save them too, you should see a download button in the top right. It’s an arrow with a line under it. You’ll then be able to save the document wherever you need to.
The documents will download a PDF file. Some browsers have different ways of downloading these files.
This means they could appear along the bottom of the screen for you to click, in your downloads in the top right of your browser, in a separate window, or even in a new internet tab. If you have a pop up blocker then this could also cause an issue.
If you’re still unable to locate your downloaded documents. You can usually find it in a special folder called "Downloads."
MAKE A CHANGE
As your policy is still in the process of being set up, you won’t be able to make a change on My Account as your policy hasn’t started.
Don’t worry though, once your policy has been active for 48 hours then you’ll be able make a change whenever you need to.

To add a new rider or edit an existing rider on your BMW Motorrad Insurance policy:
- Login to My Account and click ‘Manage Policy’ on the policy you would like to amend
- Under the ‘Rider’s’ section, select 'Make a Change'
- Choose the date you would like the change to be effective from
- From the dropdown, choose 'Change additional riders'
To add a new rider:
- Click 'Add additional rider'
- Complete the new riders details
- Click ‘Confirm Rider’s Details’
To edit an existing additional rider(s):
- Select ‘Amend’ next to the rider you are editing (the fields will be prepopulated with their current details)
- Edit the relevant details as required
- Click 'Confirm Rider's Details'
To remove an additional rider(s):
- Click ‘Remove’ next to the rider you would like to remove from the policy
There may be a change to your premium as a result of doing this. You'll see a quote for any increase or decrease in your premium as a result of your change(s) before you decide to proceed. Accepting the new quote will confirm your changes and your documents will be updated online.

To ensure your policy remains valid and provides you with the best possible protection, it's essential that you let us know of any changes to your circumstances (or those of others insured on the policy) straight away.
This includes any changes to the information set out in your policy documents, such as changing your address, vehicle use, modifications, additional riders or convictions.
If you have a BMW Motorrad Bike Insurance policy, you can make your changes online in My Account. Just log in to your account, and select "Manage Policy" on the policy you need to make a change for. If you haven't got an account already, you can register for an online account here.

Follow these steps to change your registration:
- Log in to My Account
- Select 'Manage Policy'
- Scroll to 'Bike' and select the 'Make a Change' button
- Choose the date you would like to make the change from (which you can do up to 30 days in advance)
- If you need to make any other changes select 'Make Further Changes' - Select 'Confirm and Get Quote' and you will be taken to the confirmation screen to make payment and/or confirm your changes

RENEWING MY POLICY
We’re afraid that My Account does not support renewing our Multi Bike Insurance policies at the moment.
You will still be able to view your documents in My Account at any time, but if you would like to renew your Multi Bike Insurance policy, please call our friendly renewals team on 0333 234 1021.

The quickest and easiest way to renew is online using My Account by following these steps:
- Login to My Account
- Select "Renew policy" on the relevant policy
- Take some time to read your documents, and check that nothing has changed
- Tick the box in the "What happens next?" section
- Select "Confirm" to complete your renewal if you are paying monthly, or "Renew Policy Now" if you are paying annually to go to the payment screen.
- Select the card you wish to pay with, or select "Enter New Card Details" to add a new card.
Once payment has been made, you should then see a thank you confirmation message, and then you’ll be renewed for another year.
If you have opted in to auto-renew and nothing has changed on your renewal, you don't need to contact us. We'll renew your policy automatically so you remain covered. If you pay for your policy annually, you will need to ensure your card details are up to date on your account, otherwise your policy will not automatically renew.

I need to make a change to my policy before renewal, how can I do this?

We can all forget things from time to time, so automatic renewal gives you peace of mind that your insurance will automatically roll over each year and that you’ll be able to enjoy our service uninterrupted.
It means that you won’t have to worry about being left without appropriate cover, and that you won’t have to take extra time out of your day to make sure have a policy that meets your needs.
You won’t have to worry about not seeing the quote before the balance is taken either! We’ll always send you a renewal quote around 21 days before your policy is up for renewal, and this information will all be available to you if you purchased a BMW Motorrad Bike Insurance policy in My Account

As inflation rises, the cost of repairs and replacing lost or damaged items increases, which is having a knock-on effect on the cost of claims that insurers need to pay out and sometimes need to pass these prices on to our customers aſter pay out.
There may be other contributing factors to a rise in your renewal price, such as;
- Your driving history, which may include any claims or convictions you or any additional drivers might have had within the last 12 months

MY ACCOUNT SUPPORT
Check your information and Policy Number.
If you haven’t registered for My Account already, then check the information that you have entered. Check that you are entering the correct details in the 'Policy number' field as this is the most common reason for the error message (your policy number can be found on your confirmation letter or email).
If you've tried the above and you're still having trouble registering for My Account, our Live Chat team will be happy to help. The team are available Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
This is the email address you used when you registered for My Account. Please note, it may be different to the correspondence email address we send your documents to.
If you don't remember which email address you used, or need help accessing your account, our Live Chat team will be on hand to help with any questions you may have.
You can change your authentication email address by visiting My Account, once logged in select 'Your Account' and 'Account Preferences'.
This email address is the one we will use to contact you if you forget your password. It can be a different email address to the correspondence email address that you used on your policies.
My Account currently doesn't show which documents you've uploaded, but when you successfully upload a document it briefly displays the message "This file has been successfully uploaded".
OTHER QUESTIONS

If your circumstances have changed (for example, buying a new bike) there may be other options available that mean you don't have to cancel. You can get a quote to change your bike in My Account.
